The My Imaging Portal empowers you to access, share exams with your doctor or other referrer, and help manage your own images, x-rays and exam data – using a range of familiar, user-friendly browser-enabled devices. Ask about it at your next imaging appointment.
How you get access
- Ask the receptionist to give you access to your images online when at your next appointment
- Give an email address and mobile phone number as these are required to set up your access
- Grant approval verbally or via signature on a form.
An email will be sent to you with login details and a link to access the My Imaging portal.
You can also get a paper print out with a code to take to your doctor or other referrer.

Offsite access for non-LHD Staff
Non-LHD clinicians such as GPs and other health professionals can now gain access to the portal. To gain access please complete the application form and return it to your local Medical Imaging Department.
Once your account is set up you will be able to do the following:
- View a list of studies you have referred
- Break Glass and search the database using the patient's last name and first name.
To apply complete the form.
An application form must have a mobile number on it to be accepted.
One time passwords (OTP) via SMS
All internet facing portal logins require 2FA via SMS by November 24 2021 (this includes myimaging.gsahs.health.nsw.gov.au and links from practice software link Medical Director). If you’re a contracted staff member and need to update you mobile number please complete a form.
Regular audits are conducted to ensure compliance with any NSW Health policies.
