Nutrition and Dietetics

Dietitians provide professional support to help coach and educate you and answer your questions relating to food and diet.

We can help improve your health outcomes if you are living with acute or chronic health conditions.

Our dietitians provide nutrition care for inpatients at our hospitals and multipurpose centres. If you have any nutrition concerns when you are in one of our facilities please let your doctor or nurses know and they can request a dietitian consult.

Individual services are also available for people in the community with complex needs such as those needing tube feeding, kidney disease, and people undergoing cancer treatment or those recovering from strokes or extensive surgery.

Services are available for all age groups.

We may provide nutrition advice to groups or health programs

We can work with you and your family and other members of your health care team.

You will generally require a referral from your Doctor or other health professional to see one of our Dietitian team.

To access our community based services please contact our Community Care Intake Service on 1800 999 880.
