Breast screening is recommended for women aged 50-74. BreastScreen NSW offers free breast imaging for women across NSW.

How will BreastScreen help you?

• A breast screen is the most effective way to find breast cancer early
• Early detection means more treatment options and a better chance of survival
• 9 out of 10 women with breast cancer do not have a family history
• The five-year relative survival rate for women with breast cancer that is diagnosed and treated in the earliest stage is 98%.

A mobile screening service visits locations throughout Murrumbidgee and Southern NSW Local Health Districts on a regular schedule.
