Aunty Jeans Program

We want to help you be as well as you can be!

The Aunty Jeans Program is a community orientated program to support Aboriginal people with/or at risk of chronic illness. The program combines:

  • Health promotion and health assessments;
  • Information and education;
  • Exercise sessions;
  • Health eating; and
  • Fun activities!

We cater for all levels of ability and ages. 

How will this Aunty Jeans Program help you?

 A diverse range of health service providers from SNSWLHD provide support to participants to reach their goals. We include the skills of:

  • Aboriginal Health Workers
  • Diabetes educators
  • Physiotherapists
  • Dieticians
  • Occupational therapists
  • Respiratory services staff

As well as visiting health professionals and people from other government or non-government agencies.

The sessions are informal and you have an opportunity to help shape the activities offered.
