Onboarding Suite

Welcome to Southern!

We are so glad you will be starting (or recommencing) your career with us. We have gathered some useful information and onboarding forms below to help you prepare to start your new position.

 Getting started

Once all online checks have been completed you will receive a Letter of Offer. You will need to review the Letter of Offer and if you agree you will then need to accept the offer of employment, terms and conditions of your employment, job demands, acceptance of NSW Health Code of Conduct and other personal details.

Accepting your Letter of Offer will prompt our online system to activate tasks to continue your onboarding. It is essential that you complete these tasks so that the onboarding process is finalised in preparation for your first day.  Completing your onboarding tasks will generate a StaffLink ID and your IT Access.

Throughout the onboarding process you will receive regular phone calls and written support from our Recruitment Team.

You can check the status and action any tasks assigned to you throughout all stages of the process by logging into the NSW Health Careers Portal, clicking onto 'My Applications' and then selecting ‘My Tasks’

If you have already been given your StaffLink ID (also known as your employee or assignment number) you can commence your mandatory training in My Health Learning.
