NEW PROVISIONS TO HELP REDUCE THE SPREAD OF COVID 19 IN THE SOUTH EAST

For local residents that have visited the Northern Beaches local government area or visited one of the visited one of the listed locations in Greater Sydney since 10 December, also must self-isolate and seek testing immediately.

Our free COVID testing clinics are now open. For more information on clinic locations and opening times call 1800 318 248 or go to https://www.snswlhd.health.nsw.gov.au/our-services/infectious-disease/covid-19. Testing is available within our emergency departments outside of clinic hours. Please call 1800 318 248, prior to attending.

Testing clinics location and opening times are below.

Due to recent events, our clinics are experiencing higher than normal volumes. Please expect delays. Community members seeking testing should take water, snacks and something to do whilst waiting.

Our staff are here to help you. Violence or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.

Given the current level of community transmission of COVID-19, NSW Health has directed all health workers, volunteers and visitors now wear a surgical mask if they are within 1.5m of patients. A mask will be provided upon entry. Member of the public will not be refused treatment if their clinical condition does not allow them to wear a mask.

Got Symptoms?

SNSWLHD is urging anyone feeling unwell – even with the mildest of symptoms such as a runny nose, scratchy or sore throat, cough, fever, shortness of breath, headache, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, nausea, diarrhoea or muscle aches – to self-isolate and seek COVID-19 testing, so cases in the community are identified as quickly as possible.

To protect lives & stay safe:

  • Stay in if you are unwell
  • Arrange to get tested
  • Maintain physical / social distancing
  • download the COVIDSafe app
  • It’s OK to get tested more than once, if you have symptoms at different points in time.

If you’re unwell – call Southern COVID line on 1800 318 248 or use our enquiry form https://www.snswlhd.health.nsw.gov.au/additional-pages/covid-19-testing-enquiry-form about a COVID 19 test today.
