Southern NSW Local Health District is providing additional clinics with extended hours in the Snowy Mountains.
The FREE COVID testing clinic in Jindabyne has been relocated to a larger location in the carpark of Jindabyne HealthOne at 5 Thredbo Terrace. The clinic will be open daily from 9am – 4pm. It is a drive through clinic, making it safe and easy for everyone to access the service.
The District has also extended the days and hours of the Perisher Valley Testing Clinic, which will run daily from 9.30am – 2pm until further notice. The clinic is located at NSW National Parks Building, 9914 Kosciuszko Rd, Perisher Valley.
From Thursday 30 July, 2020 the COVID testing clinic in Thredbo will also run daily from 9.30am – 2.00pm. The clinic remains at Captain Coachman Room, on Friday Drive, Thredbo behind the Information Centre. Meanwhile the District is working with Snowy Monaro Council to establish additional pop-up clinics in the region, with details soon to be released.
The FREE Testing clinic in Cooma Hospital remains as a drive thru clinic, open daily from 9am – 5pm. Enter driveway off Victoria St, near Community Health / Maternity Buildings.

If you’re feeling unwell with any symptoms like fever, sore/scratchy throat, head ache, fatigue, aches and pains, runny nose, loss of smell, loss of taste, diarrhoea, nausea/vomiting and loss of appetite cough or breathing issues it is important to self-isolate immediate then making arrangements to have a COVID Test– call Southern NSW helpline 1800 999 880 (option 2) to book a free COVID-19 test.
