Community members invited to attend Southern NSW Local Health District Annual Public Meeting

Southern NSW Local Health District (SNSWLHD) is inviting members of the community to its online Annual Public Meeting (APM) at 9.00am on Thursday 4 November.

The session will be held online due to limitations on public gatherings under the current COVID-19 restrictions.

The APM will include presentations from Board Chair, Dr Allan Hawke AC and Chief Executive Margaret Bennett, as well as updates from the District’s COVID-19 Controller and Network General Managers. The guest speaker will be Dr Lesley Russell, Adjunct Associate Professor at the Menzies Centre for Health Policy at the University of Sydney.

Margaret Bennett encouraged interested community members to attend, and to send in questions ahead of the event.

“The APM is a chance for us to provide an update on recent achievements, future plans and upcoming opportunities for community members to engage with us.

“Southern’s vision is to be a recognised leader in rural healthcare. The community’s voice and input are essential to helping, guiding and supporting us to be the best we can be,” Ms Bennett said.

Anyone wishing to attend should register for a free ticket and Zoom link via Eventbrite: https://annualpublicmeeting2021.eventbrite.com.au

Questions should be sent in advance to SNSWLHD-YourFeedBack@health.nsw.gov.au
