About our respiratory service
Our lung (respiratory) rehabilitation programs are run by specialist nurses and allied health professionals that provide information and teach you how to manage your lung condition.
Our services can assess your needs and provide specific information to help you manage your lung condition. Your nurse will coordinate with your GP or doctor and medical specialist to make sure your care meets your needs.
Our staff can provide you with specific and practical information to help you manage your lung condition, including:
- home oxygen therapy
- preventing and managing flare ups
- recognising and monitoring symptoms
- managing your medications and equipment
- learning how to manage daily management and breathlessness via our exercise programs run by physiotherapists.
